Federal Financial Reporting Platform

Immutable audit trails and real-time visibility across 400+ government bodies.
VERITAS is a high-integrity financial reporting and audit system consolidating Ghana's entire public sector financial data. The platform processes billions of cedis in government expenditure with immutable audit trails, automated compliance checks, and real-time reporting dashboards for the Controller & Accountant General.
Manual reporting processes created 3–6 week reconciliation backlogs at fiscal quarter ends. Audit trails lived in disconnected spreadsheet archives — vulnerable to manipulation, version conflicts, and catastrophic data loss. MDAs were submitting reports in 12 different formats, none of which were machine-readable.
We built a unified financial data ingestion layer that standardised submissions from all MDAs into a single schema on ingest. Every transaction is written to an append-only immutable ledger, making retroactive manipulation structurally impossible. Automated reconciliation engines run continuous cross-MDA balance checks, surfacing discrepancies within minutes rather than weeks.
Real-time expenditure visibility for over 400 MDAs. Quarterly reconciliation time cut from 6 weeks to under 48 hours. Zero audit failures since deployment. The Auditor-General's office has cited VERITAS as a model for public sector financial transparency in West Africa.
"VERITAS has given us something we never had before — the ability to look at any government transaction in real time and trace it back to its authorising officer. For public accountability, this is transformational."
"The Auditor-General's office now receives fully formatted, machine-verifiable accounts. What previously took my team three months of manual reconciliation is now a scheduled overnight job."
